Each festival's date is fixed by the same rule the almanacs use — Diwali on the day Amavasya holds at Pradosh, Karwa Chauth on the day Chaturthi holds at moonrise — so the date abroad can differ from India's, and every city page is computed from that city's own sunrise, sunset and moonrise.
